I (Laura) head up the newborn side of things. Love those sweet early days of life. Newborn sessions take place at my natural/studio light studio space. These are usually when baby is 5-14 days old. This is when baby is still young enough to be sleepy and "curled up". Although that is my preferred age I have photographed lots of older babies and they have done great. I will pencil in your due date and once your baby is born we will finalize our session date and time. These sessions are usually mid-week in the morning. My full newborn sessions are approx. 2 hours and minis are an hour. We follow the baby's lead with lots of time for diaper changes, feeding, etc. We try to keep things relaxed and stress-free. You will have the opportunity to choose from a large variety of props, headbands, blankets, hats, wreaths, crates, baskets, backdrops etc. as well as have a space with beautiful light. If there is anything specific that you would like to use feel free to ask if I have it. This can also be a time for Mom and Dad to relax (or take a nap). Sibling and parents are welcome at the Newborn Studio session and Newborn Family Mini. Please email me if you have any additional questions and for availability.
