When your engaged and considering a photographer its important to choose the right one for you. Here are some of our suggestions when considering a great photographer for your wedding day.
- First off the most important decision of your life your wedding is choosing a partner that loves you for you and of course they have to say Yes!
- Next you need to decide what kind of style and pictures do you like? Look around and compare photography sites. Do you want candids, all possessed, lots of flashy crisp lights or the vintage feel of sun flares or maybe you just love black and white.
- Picking a venue and date are going to come in real handy here so You need to have this figured out or down to a couple dates when you talk to your photographer. The photographer will most like say “congratulations, did you pick a date yet?” weddings are book a year or further in some instances and in order to secure your date you will need a deposit that locks in the photographer you’ve been checking out. I recommend looking through step 4 before calling back and making the deposit.
- Is this photographer reputable? Check there reviews on Google, Yelp, Wedding wire and any other place they are listed. What are past clients saying? Keep in mind some sites require you write 5 reviews before you can have a review stick on a business you actually want to review. So read through all the reviews and sort through the feedback and decide for your self if want to trust this studio to deliver your images exactly like you agreed on. Decide if the writer of the less favorable review has other reviews they have written on other businesses are they all less favorable or do they actually give good feedback the business need to grow and you as a consumer can trust.
- My final consideration for you is meet in person or if thats not possible a good Skype call can really finish the last question. Is this someone who you want to be standing next to all day? Are they calm, positive and upbeat? You will be disappointed if you have mr and mrs no personality at your wedding making your big day more gloomy. If there photo skills make up for the personality then go for it. My suggestion is skills and attitude, you are paying them to capture your big day!
I hope my suggestions help when deciding on a photographer for your wedding day. thanks for visiting our blog I hope you will check out our site or send an email saying hello.
