In newborn photography, we have many props on hand in our Orange County studio.

Studio photography in general requires that you have a space large enough for newborn photography. Second you need backdrops, props, and lighting.

You will need some specific props for newborn photography. Props you need are wraps, blankets, headbands, crates (bins, buckets barrels, etc.)

It can be a bit overwhelming to try to gather all of this newborn stuff in one day. For most photographers this is an over time and on going endeavor. The newborn photography prop collection is always growing. Last year we introduced our Star Wars and super hero themes.

Some clients bring in newborn props that they want to incorporate into the newborn photography session. Prop can be books, glasses or flowers and leaves. Often it is something significant to the parents. This is a beautiful way to share a bit of your own story in the newborn images.
